Golf fitness is about being fit to play the game at an individual’s highest level and doing so without causing injury. It’s about understanding how a body’s limitations can influence the golf swing and how to address those limitations through the proper channels; whether it’s through swing instruction, physical rehabilitation or strength and conditioning exercise.
It’s even harder when your own body gets in the way. The fact is the average amateur golfers is not physically capable of performing the required body movements that are involved in a mechanically correct golf swing. So golf fitness is not the pursuit of a better looking body, but the pursuit of a better functioning body to be Fit For Golf you need the physical ability to get into the position to deliver a powerful and consistent golf swing, with minimal risk of injury.
And to do that you need:
Strength Training and Conditioning: Build essential muscle strength to generate more power and control in your swings, leading to increased distance and accuracy.
Mobility and Flexibility: Improve your range of motion and flexibility, enabling you to execute smoother, more efficient swings and maintain proper posture throughout your game.
Stability: Enhance your core stability and balance to maintain control over your movements, resulting in more consistent and reliable shots.
Power: Develop explosive power in your swings, allowing you to drive the ball farther with less effort while maintaining control and accuracy.
Balance: Fine-tune your body's balance and coordination to achieve a more stable and controlled stance, reducing the likelihood of mishits and improving overall performance.

TPI GOlf Fitness & Assessment
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Movement Screen is a a comprehensive assessment designed to identify physical limitations and imbalances that may be affecting your golf game. This movement screen focuses specifically on the golf swing to assess the most efficient way for each player to swing. This assessment is based on the belief that efficiency is unique to a golfer’s body.
The TPI Golf Screen aims to find out if your body is ready for better golf by screening it for any physical limitations, connecting the limitations to the way you swing and developing an exercise plan to improve the limitations and involves a series of tests to evaluate your mobility, strength, stability, and biomechanics..
The TPI Movement Screen will assess:
Swing mechanics and biomechanics
Physical fitness
Movement quality
Current health & health history
Following this assessment, we go over different ways we can work with you to correct any muscle imbalances, and integrate strength and mobility work into your training.
